TV Time has shut down. Where does your watch history go?

First, check what you have

If you exported before the shutdown you should have a CSV of what you watched. Keep it somewhere safe: it is the only copy now, and every tracker worth moving to can do something with a list of titles and dates.

If you did not export, the history is gone and no app can recover it. What you can do is rebuild the shows that mattered, which is faster than it sounds because most people are actively watching fewer than ten.

What to look for in a replacement

Whether it can take a file at all. A tracker with no import path is asking you to retype years of history by hand.

Whether it tracks the way you watch. Per-episode checklists are exhausting for a show you binge; per-season is faster and enough for most people.

Whether you can get your data out again. The lesson of TV Time is that an app you cannot export from is an app that can take your history with it.
