TV show tracker

Voluta tracks TV a season at a time, so a show you watch over three months does not need an entry per episode, and lets you talk about it without spoiling anyone.

Bringing your shows across

  1. TV Time or TraktA TV Time CSV imports free. Trakt connects free too, and keeps itself up to date.
  2. Shows arrive at show levelMarked watched, watching or want to watch, with your ratings. Not a per-episode checklist, which is deliberate.
  3. Then it sits beside everything elseSame lists, same search, same Rewind as your books, films and games.

Season by season

How TV is tracked

Want to watch, watching or watched, by season rather than by episode, with dates, a quarter-star rating, a mood, episodes counted and minutes logged.

A re-watch is its own entry, so going back to a show years later adds to your history rather than overwriting it.

Between episodes

Watch clubs

Clubs and buddy watches with nomination, voting and episode-gated threads: someone three episodes behind cannot see the thread about the finale. That gating is the whole point, and no other cross-media tracker has it.

What it costs

Tracking books, films, TV and games is free, along with lists, search, clubs, buddy reads, imports and the annual Rewind. Premium is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year and adds deeper analytics, the monthly Rewind, custom themes and supporter perks.

Questions

Does it track individual episodes?
It tracks by season and lets you record how many episodes you watched on a given day. Per-episode checklists are deliberately not the model.
Can I import my watch history?
Yes, and every import is free: a TV Time CSV, a Letterboxd or Goodreads export, or a live Trakt connection.
Does re-watching a show overwrite the first time?
No. A re-watch is its own entry with its own dates and rating, so going back to something years later adds to your history rather than replacing what you thought the first time.
Where does the show data come from?
Trakt, which is also how the optional Trakt sync works. Voluta is not endorsed or certified by Trakt.
What about shows I gave up on?
Dropped is a real status that still counts towards your year, rather than an empty space where a show used to be.
Can I discuss a show without spoilers?
Watch clubs are spoiler-gated by where members actually are, so a thread does not spoil someone two episodes behind.
